Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 tsp baking soda
  • 0.25 tsp salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 0.5 cups butter, softened Make sure it's at room temperature.
  • 0.5 cups cream cheese, softened Make sure it's at room temperature.
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Mix-ins

  • 1 cup chopped strawberries Chop into small pieces.
  • 0.5 cup white chocolate chips (optional) Can substitute with dark chocolate chips.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, cream together the butter, cream cheese, and sugar until smooth.
  • Beat in the egg and vanilla extract, then gradually add the flour mixture.
  • Fold in the chopped strawberries and white chocolate chips, if using.

Baking

  • Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  • Let cool before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to five days. Freeze for up to three months.
