  • 1/2 cup crushed shortcake cookies or graham crackers

Preparation

  • Prepare the apples by washing and drying them thoroughly.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  • Once melted, dip each apple into the white chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated.
  • After dipping, roll or sprinkle the coated apples with the crushed freeze-dried strawberries and crushed shortcake cookies or graham crackers.
  • Place the finished candy apples on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and allow the chocolate to set before serving.

Notes

Serve these candy apples on a platter and consider setting up a candy apple station for guests. Store them in an airtight container in the fridge, separated by parchment paper, for optimal freshness.
