Ingredients
  

Dough and Cheese

  • 1 pizza dough pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
  • 8 sticks mozzarella string cheese sticks
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Toppings

  • pepperoni slices
  • 1 cup pizza sauce

Seasoning and Other

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • to taste seasoning (Italian herbs, garlic powder)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
  • Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and shape it into a circle.
  • Place mozzarella cheese sticks around the edge of the dough and fold the dough over to create a stuffed crust; press to seal.
  • Spread pizza sauce over the dough, leaving the stuffed crust exposed.
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top and add pepperoni slices.
  • Brush the crust with olive oil and sprinkle with seasoning.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
  • Let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

For a crispier crust, consider using a pizza stone if you have one. Feel free to add your favorite toppings, such as bell peppers, onions, or mushrooms. Let the dough rest before rolling it out for easier shaping.
