Ingredients
  

For the Cookie Dough

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup candy corn

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  • Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  • In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture.
  • Fold in the white chocolate chips and candy corn.
  • Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  • Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden.
  • Let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

These cookies are best enjoyed fresh out of the oven, but they are also delightful at room temperature. You can serve them plain or as part of a dessert platter. For an added treat, consider adding a scoop of ice cream on top of a cookie!
