Ingredients
  

Main ingredients

  • 1.5–2 pounds Stew Meat Cut into even sizes for uniform cooking.
  • 1 oz Au Jus Packet
  • 1 oz Brown Gravy Packet
  • 1 oz Onion Soup Mix Packet
  • 1 medium Onion, diced
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • 12 oz Egg Noodles, cooked Stir in at the end before serving.

Preparation

  • Add the stew meat to the crockpot.
  • Sprinkle the onion soup, au jus and brown gravy packets on top and add the diced onion.
  • Pour in the water and beef broth and give everything a nice big stir.
  • Put the top onto the crockpot and set it on low for 6 hours.
  • Once the six hours are up, stir everything together and break up the chunks of beef a bit while you’re stirring.
  • Finally, stir in the egg noodles. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Cool leftovers within two hours and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3–4 days. For freezing, portion into freezer-safe containers and freeze for up to 3 months. Brown the stew meat first for deeper flavor, if desired.
