Main Ingredients

  • 2 pieces chicken breasts Pound to even thickness for even cooking.
  • 8 oz egg noodles Cook according to package instructions.
  • 2 tablespoons butter Divided into two tablespoons.
  • 2 cups chicken broth Use low-sodium if preferred.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.
  • Chopped parsley for garnish Optional for serving.

Instructions
 

Cooking Chicken

  • In a large pan, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
  • Add the chicken breasts and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  • Remove from pan and set aside.

Cooking Noodles

  • In the same pan, add chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  • Add egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  • Drain excess liquid if necessary, then add the remaining tablespoon of butter to the noodles and stir until melted.

Combining and Serving

  • Slice the chicken and add it back to the pan with the noodles.
  • Toss everything together to combine.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat gently, adding a splash of broth if the noodles are dry. For more flavor, try adding paprika or Italian seasoning.
