Ingredients
  

Truffle Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Ensure cream cheese is fully softened for easy mixing.
  • 2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs Store-bought cookie crumbs can be used.

Coating and Decoration

  • 2 cups white chocolate chips Melt in the microwave before dipping.
  • 1/2 cup green candy melts or icing Used to create an eye shape on each truffle.
  • as needed mini chocolate chips or candy for iris Use for decoration.

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and chocolate cookie crumbs until well combined.
  • Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  • Freeze the truffles for about 30 minutes.

Coating

  • Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl.
  • Dip each truffle in the melted white chocolate until fully coated and return to the baking sheet.
  • While the coating is still wet, use the green candy melts or icing to create an eye shape on top of each truffle.
  • Place a mini chocolate chip or candy in the center of each eye.

Serving

  • Let the truffles set, then serve and enjoy for Halloween!

Notes

Store these truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about a week or freeze for up to three months. Decorate your table with cobwebs or little plastic spiders for an extra Halloween touch.
