Ingredients
  

Mushroom Filling

  • 12 large large mushrooms Cleaned and stems removed
  • 8 oz cream cheese Softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup spinach, chopped Fresh or thawed frozen spinach
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 pcs black olives, sliced For decoration
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded Can substitute with other preferred cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems.
  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese, garlic, spinach, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper until combined.
  • Stuff each mushroom cap with the mixture.
  • Place sliced olives on top of each stuffed mushroom to resemble an eyeball.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the stuffed mushrooms.
  • Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden.
  • Serve warm as a spooky Halloween appetizer.
